Halsey Man Dies in Crash Near Brownsville

Two other men in the 1972 Ford pick-up were injured in the crash and taken to local hospitals.

(BROWNSVILLE) - A single vehicle crash near Brownsville resulted in the death of a 21-year old Halsey man Sunday evening.

Graeme R. Frasier was ejected from a 1972 Ford pick-up when its driver lost control according to investigators.

Mr. Frasier is reported to have died at the scene of the crash just before 6:00 PM.

Linn County Sheriff Tim Mueller says deputies and the Major Accident Investigation Team are continuing their investigation. It happened on Ranch Drive, about 5 miles South of Brownsville Oregon.

Mueller says 22-year old Patrick D. Fitzmorris of Halsey was operating the 1972 Ford Pick Up with two passengers, 21-year old Graeme R. Frasier, and 18-year old Parker D. Leigh of Halsey.

Investigators say Graeme Frasier was thrown from the truck and died at the scene of the crash. Parker Leigh was transported to the Lebanon Hospital, the driver Patrick Fitzmorris was taken to Albany General Hospital.

This investigation is continuing and at the time of this release no additional information is available.
