Truck Bursts into Flames on Mission Street in Salem

(SALEM, Ore. ) - Salem firefighters were quickly on the scene Tuesday evening after a truck burst into flames on Mission Street SE.

The truck caught fire around 7:30 p.m., right in front of the Salem Radiology Clinic and Oregon Community Imaging building. The incident caused minor traffic delays in the area until firefighters put out the flames and cleared the scene.

Witnesses tell Salem-News.com that it appeared that the occupant of the truck was able to escape unharmed.
