(KEIZER) - Just after 7:00 AM Friday, Street Crimes Detectives served a search warrant at 4035 Arleta Ave NE in Keizer. After entering the home, investigators found nearly 10 grams of meth, one gram of heroin and one gram of dried marijuana with a street value of about $500. Also seized was more than $400 in cash. 42-year old Kaylynn Velasco, 31-year old Abraham Patricio-Reyes, 27-year old Aureliano Estrada-Silva, 22-year old Tanicia Velasco, 23-year old BJ Beaty and 32-year old Nicolas Cruz-Estrada, all of Salem, were arrested. All were booked at the Marion County Jail on drug related charges which include possession and delivery of a controlled substance and frequenting a place where drugs are used or sold. In addition, all except Mr. Cruz-Estrada were arrested on outstanding arrest warrants and parole violations. There were no children in the home. Your tax dollars at work....wasted. Legalize pot. Alchohol kills more people than anything and I am not talking about car accidents. Liver and kidney disease to name a few. Why is liquor legal? Because the liquor industry is a powerful lobby. Leave these poor souls alone as long as they do not rape, steal or kill. When is this country going to learn that jail is just a business and a criminal one at that. $400.00 in cash...woweee! I keep that in my home just for groceries and gas. Give intelligent people a break. Legalize Pot now and make it damn cheap. I wonder if anything disappeared from the evidence room. Oh officers, get a real job and do some real work!
