=============Original story=========================

The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office has activated it's Search and Rescue Unit to begin to coordinate a search for three missing teenagers in the Timothy Lake area.

Detective Jeffrey Green with the Clackamas Sheriff says the camp host at Gone Creek Campground reported that three boys, ages 14, 15, and 16, left on bikes at about 8:30 p.m. from the campground and have not returned.

"The boys were reportedly dressed in shorts and t-shirts, leaving the campground after the dinner at about 8:30 p.m. and going on a 1/2 hour bike ride," Green said.

"At about 10:20 p.m. the camp host contacted officials over the missing boys. At this time, a Clackamas County Search and rescue unit is enroute to the campground to coordinate a search for the boys.

Green says the boys have a cell phone with them but due to the terrain cell coverage is minimized.

"It is believed one of the boys has asthma and it is unknown if if he has his medications with him. There is limited information available at this time due to the location and it's terrain."

Green says more information will be released later.
