American Idol Auditions Coming to Seattle’s Key Arena

Salem-area singers who want a shot at becoming the next American Idol superstar won’t have to travel to far for a chance to impress Randy, Paula, and Simon.

(SEATTLE) - American Idol begins its search for the next singing superstar and will host auditions in 7 cities across the country starting in August.

Auditions for the sixth edition of American Idol begin in Los Angeles on Tuesday, Aug. 8th, at a location to be named shortly. And raps up Tuesday, September 8th, at Seattle’s Key Arena.

Men and women 16 to 28 years old on Aug. 6th, 2006, and eligible to work in the United States are welcome to audition.

Restrictions apply – a full list of FAQs and Release Forms will be posted shortly on idolonfox.com.

Also coming soon, video guides to audition cities, and photos and videos from every audition.

I believe that everyone should go for what their hearts tell them to go for. Anyone with a dream isn't on the dope of tv it brings everyone together. GO AMERICAN IDOL!

More young Americans know the names of people on American Idol but do not know who are their government representatives. Forget this idol junk and write to your Senators and Congress people. Get off the dope of TELEVISION!
