VIDEO UPDATE: Crews Battle Multi-Alarm Fire in West Salem

(SALEM) - An apartment fire this evening around 6:40 p.m. in West Salem drew response from multiple fire agencies and other emergency responders.

The location of the apartment building is on Rosewood Drive Northwest, in West Salem. Crews have extinguished the flames and the apartments were all evacuated.

Our Photojournalist Jerry Freeman just left the scene and we will soon have his video from the scene.

Little else is known at this point, we will bring you more information as it becomes available.

Jerry Freeman did report that as he left the scene, a primary search had not been completed.

Several agencies assisted Salem Fire at the scene.
