(ALBANY, Ore.) - Oregon State Police are on the scene of a fatal car crash that left the wreckage of one car on its roof in the freeway median. The crash happened on Interstate 5 southbound near milepost 215. Oregon State Police troopers have been on scene investigating this a single vehicle crash that happened earlier at about 9:30 a.m. OSP confirms that the victim was pronounced deceased at scene. LifeFlight was dispatched earlier to transport one passenger from the crash who survived. We do not know who was in the vehicle but we will add that information as it becomes available. Traffic is open but troopers are still on scene, and now another crash has Interstate 5 stopped at Salem. That three vehicle crash on southbound I-5 just south of Salem at Milepost 250 has backed up traffic to Mission Street. Motorists should expect delays.
