Two Men Arrested For Trespassing on SUMCO Property

Two men were arrested while a third escaped

(SALEM) - Salem police arrested two men after security officers found them trespassing on the SUMCO property, 3990 Fairview Industrial Drive SE.

Prostar security reported the incident just before 3:30 AM, after they found a pickup truck unattended and one of the men was seen walking around the property.

With the help of a police dog, officers were able to track down the men, who they say were trying to run from the area.

Arrested were 40-year-old Emery Roberts of Salem, and 22-year-old Claude Jones of Albany.

Both were booked into the Marion County Jail on criminal trespass and Second-Degree trespass charges.

A third man was seen in the area, but was able to escape police.
