Representative Kurt Schrader as an Afghan War Strategist

(MOLALLA, Ore.) - Don’t think that I don’t have the greatest respect AND empathy for these people. Washington DC has about the worst climate in the U.S. – blazing hot and moist in the summer and miserable in the winter. Oregon is paradise by comparison.

Representative Schrader reminds us that Alexander the Great failed to conquer the place as did Britain and Russia. First, if necessary, I’d like to point out who got us there in the first place. It wasn’t the Democrats nor Obama. They inherited this mess but we did have to punish Bin laden et cetera and their ilk – didn’t we? With 2000 dead Americans after 9/11.

Rep Schrader was correct about Alexander, Britain and Russia but when they tried to retreat and evacuate hundreds if not thousands of troops got shot in the back or blown up. This war is NOT like a movie. Our troops cannot just get up and walk thru the exit.

In the 1900’s the US had had several related catastrophes with unprotected deadly retreats. If I must, I’ll point them out. Bataan Death March was probably the worst. Did we lose about 60,000 men (?).

The Kasserine Pass retreat in North Africa cost us about 3000 men. Luckily most were captured. The Battle of the Bulge in WWII cost about 20,000. The Chosen Reservoir retreat cost us several thousand and the Korean War about 50,000. Viet Nam War was a comparable disaster. The worst thing that can happen to a fighting man is to be shot in the back – during retreat.

To be certain, the Afghan War is a disaster not of the Soldiers and Marines making. Would the Oregon Congressional Delegation relegate our troops to be shot in the back? I will admit this is a sloppy, messy, dangerous war but “cutting and running” is not the answer. We cannot just quit.

We know Bin laden and his thugs are there someplace directing the war against us. They are trying hard to influence our congress to pull out so they can even cause more deviltry. The destruction of the World Trade Center was bad enough but they continue to be successful and will be more so if we don’t keep killing their Heaven-seeking Mujaideen.

DOWN WITH BIN LADEN!!

To Vic: July 10, 2010 Yes, I am a Marijuana Therapy Specialist but I am NOT a user (the cops would be stalking me). I AM a WWII battle Veteran. I have been shot at by EVERY German Weapon! I captured 26 Nazi Officers one day. There is nothing worse to a combat soldier than to retreat which is far more dangerous AND lethal than attacking. Literally nothing protects a combat soldier during retreat. I am trying to protect my fellow DOGGIES (combat infantrymen - The point of the spear). IS CONGRESS PROTECTING THEM???

Good book: "road to 9-11" explains how actions for the last 60 years created this "terrorist" problems and helped bring (-11. The CIA funds them all: Saddam, Bin laden, Al-Qaeda.

by the way..most, obviously do not know what is going on at our southern border. In Arizona. Its not about racial profiling, its about police being gunned down by mexican drug cartels, kidnappings and threats to sheriffs, and their families. I am the third f 4 brothers. the oldest was a helicopter gunner in vietnam, he is now a missionary on the border helping orphans with housing and food, and the second brother lives in Phoenix and travels the area. It is a friggin war zone. It is worse than Iraq. Coming to a town near you, and the federal government does nothing but get lawyers. Dont believe me now, I am just anon, just watch, and remember my words later. We are being lied to about the border, about the gulf, about afghanistan, and iraq and about the economy. Actually, if you would read the books of kissiner/soros/rockefellars/ and all their other minions, they say it out straight. but the SOB's know nobody will read their books.. (i mis-spell when angry) sorry.

Bin Laden was a CIA operative right up until 9/11. Two months before 911, I wrote more than a dozen congress/senate critters, saying, there is going to be an attack, it will probably be planes in a building, and they will blame bin laden, and I know its not bin laden. etc... I never received a response. You would think they would have at least wrote me back and asked how I knew?? Or had swat teams at my house thinking I was part of it...NOTHING! Also, congress/senate critters will act like they are for/against something, knowing all along, nothing will change, they do it for show. Also... Schrader was going along with auditing the federal reserve bank who just stole all our money..he backed down at the last minute. The same way he would back down on any issue. Same as with the rest of the critters you mentioned. Its time to vote all the incumbents out. The U.S./Israel is in Afghanistan for the eurasian oil pipeline, the billions they make in the opium trade, and to continue their world domination. And grrrr, if people dont start waking up to this fact, like RIGHT NOW, ...grrr, I dont why I even try sometimes. I tell ya why I try, because now, my email box is overwhlemed, with those who did not believe me then, but then wrote me years later when the stuff I said came true. I am not psychic, I am not smarter than you, I just read the books of those who rule the western world, and study de-classified government documents, and I dont watch tv..that simple. The de-value of the dollar is coming next (its in their books), your pension plans will be taken. Watch and see! That Schraeder backed off on an audit of the Federal Reserve Bank, Makes me KNOW he is not for the American people, but another slave to the bankers.

No, it was 3000 Americans killed by criminals, mostly Saudis and Afghanistan had nothing to do with it.Despicable as the Taliban are, they had nothing to do with it either. Bin Laden said in the first tape ( I don't know if any of the following ones were the real McCoy or not)that 9-11 was reprisal for the support of the Israeli genocide on Palestine. Remember? The perps should be tried and convicted by the World Court. The US invaded Afghanistan, not because of the WTC bombing,but because of its statigic importance to Halliburton and Dick Cheney's oil pipeline interests. And, yes, we can just quit. Nobody gets shot in the back. Our soldiers come home. Perhaps American mothers should just go to Afghanistan and get their kids the way the Russian mothers went and got theirs. Remember, it was the USA who was arming and financing the Taliban at that point. The way to stop war is to stop. Period. The theater just keeps getting bigger and bigger all the time. Now we are drone bombing civilians in Pakistan too as we can't find the dirty rats so we kill whoever happens to be at a wedding or something. And there is all that opium still growing there, it is pretty lucrative, reminds me of the drug connection in Southeast Asia during the Vietnam War. War is obsolete. It is not an effective tool, it is an atrocity. How about counting all the innocent Afghan civilians killed? Have you counted them Doc? Or are we like the Israelis who value other lives at 10 or 100 to one of ours? Enough is enough, it should never have happened in the first place. Horrid, sad, unforgivable lies and murder and the destruction of our economy and our humanity, that's what war is good for, absolutely nothing. Say it again, War, what is it good for, absolutely nothing.
