(SALEM, Ore.) - Salem Police have released robbery video from security cameras at the Plaid Pantry Store located at 1504 Broadway NE. Lt. Steve Birr, Criminal Investigations Section Commander, says a male subject entered the store and displayed a handgun last Friday at about 2:45 a.m. The suspect was a male, 25 to 30 years of age, approximately five-foot nine-inches, 170 pounds, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black jeans, black shoes, red gloves, and had a nylon pulled over his head. It is believed the suspect had dark brown hair. The suspect obtained a mere $40 in the robbery, Birr said. Plaid Pantry is offering a $1000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect.
