One Person Dead After Stabbing in NE Salem

(SALEM, Ore. ) - Salem-News.com is on scene of a fatal stabbing in the 4700 block of Niles Ave NE.
Salem Police say a male was killed and another male has been detained in the incident, and there are no other suspects currently being searched for.
Salem Police have closed off the area, and nobody is being allowed into the area, until police have concluded their investigation.
One witness tells Salem-News.com that police officers and Salem firefighters tried to perform CPR on the victim but they were not successful. The incident location Niles Ave NE, is just off Blossom Drive NE.
