(SALEM, Ore. ) - Governor Ted Kulongoski has ordered all flags at public institutions be flown at half-staff on Monday, July 2nd and Tuesday, July 3rd, in memory of Spc. Joseph Kenny and Spc. Dominic Nathaniel Rodriguez. Kenny, 20, of Veneta, and Rodriguez, 23, of Klamath Falls, both died on Saturday, June 22nd. Kenny died in Mosul, Iraq and Rodriguez died in Baghdad, Iraq. “The death of both of these fine soldiers is a deep loss to our entire state,” said Governor Kulongoski. “Both of these young men made lasting impacts within their communities and their units.
