(SALEM) - Salem Fire Investigators along with Salem Police Detectives have been very busy looking for the arsonist or arsonists who where involved in six separate fires in the Salem area during the month of June. It all started on June 14th, at Sprague High School where a fire was set in the girl's bathroom. The suspects in this case have been arrested. On June 19th, another arson fire occurred at Sprague High to their outdoor concession stand. The suspects in this case are still being sought. On June 26th, a backhoe was set on fire. The backhoe was a total loss. Still looking for suspects. On June 28th, an arsonist(s) set a fire to a storage shed to the South Friends Church at 1140 Baxter Road S. These suspects have not yet been located. Also on June 28th, residents around Fairmont Park in South Salem discovered an incendiary device in the park. Investigators are still seeking those suspects. On June 30th, an arson fire was set at the St. Vincent DePaul Church at 1010 Columbia Street NE. The fire only caused minor damage. No arrests in this case have been made.
