(Salem) - 5 traffic signals stopped functioning on Lancaster Drive NE Tuesday about 11:40 AM, and almost 3,500 customers went without power due to the outage in North Salem. Signals were out on Lancaster Drive NE from Amber Avenue NE north to D Street NE, and power was out at Lancaster Mall as well. Customers affected were on two "feeder lines", the Elma 13 and the Elma-Hudson. The boundaries of the Elma 13 are State Street NE, Pennsylvania Avenue, Cordon Road and Elma Avenue; the boundaries of the Elma-Hudson feeder line are D Street NE, State Street, Elma Avenue and Hawthorne Avenue. Salem Public Works crews and PGE crews responded, and all power has been restored, though the cause of the outage has not yet been identified. | Support Salem-News.com: Quick Links
