(LONDON) - The America that the founding fathers established almost 250 years ago is unrecognizable now. Since the Second World War, America has been transformed into the bully in the global playground. What various American administrations can’t achieve by persuasion, bribery and coercion they destroy with brute force.

Some thirty wars have been initiated or instigated by America from World War II until today. Always in somebody else’s backyard. What concern me most are the various wars it has started in the Middle East. I am thinking of the bombing of Libya 1986; the Gulf War 1991; War on Terrorism, 2001 – present; Operation Enduring Freedom - Afghanistan 2001 – present; Operation Iraqi Freedom, 2003 – present and the various incursions into Lebanon. All these wars were unprovoked and unnecessary. They brought nothing but havoc and destruction to those on the receiving end of the unhinged might of America. They were mostly wars fought in the name of protecting the American nation from a mythical enemy yet brought America nothing but loss of life and treasure at home and, in the outside world, resentment and rejection of everything America stood for. The only beneficiary of these wars was Israel.

“Every time anyone says that Israel is our only friend in the Middle East, I can’t help but think that before Israel, we had no enemies in the Middle East.” American Jesuit priest, Father John Sheehan. Ask yourselves, is America more secure and safe as a result of all these wars? Yet, if it were not for the wisdom and alertness of the American people in recent years Israel would have coaxed the current American administration into two more unnecessary and costly wars in Syria and Iran. In all the years I have been on this earth one major question has perplexed me. Why, since the creation of Israel, are successive US Administrations so staunchly with Israel and so vehemently against us, the Palestinians?

To try to fathom how this has come about I made it my business to study and travel around America to unravel this mystery. I found three simple answers:

1. Ignorance of the facts.
2. Religion
3. The American interest

Ignorance

This is because of the make-up of the country. The people go about acquiring their daily bread during the week; they go to baseball or football on Saturdays and to Church on Sundays. Their television and local papers are their main source of information, if you could call it that.

Most Americans have no real exposure to international events and no real interest in what goes on beyond their immediate surroundings and maybe the state they live in, and possibly the union.

It is a vast, isolated and insulated country and as such is easily influenced and manipulated by the power of the Church and the vested interest of certain political parties and their affiliates. In America you can buy a slot on television and sell a packet of crisps, a packet of condoms, God, The President of The United States and Israel - all in the same slot.

The Zionists took a stranglehold on the mass media in America and they made it their business to misinform, influence and to subdue. However, nowadays many Americans are demanding the truth. They are calling for a change in American domestic and foreign policy. And the reasons for this upsurge of informed demands are the obvious ones.

Facebook, You tube, Twitter Mass communication via the Internet is now challenging the status quo and the biased, established press of America. Every day I see taboos being broken, boundaries being challenged, ideas being advanced by young and old alike, who have drive, enthusiasm and an insistence on knowing the truth

The second, Religion

America was established on biblical ideals, simply because most of the people who migrated from Europe and elsewhere to the New World were from persecuted religious minorities. What they had in common was their blind faith in the bible. They fought their War of Independence against Britain and their banner read ‘In God We Trust’.

They fought their own civil war between north and south, and again it was in the name of God; ‘In God we trust’. They waged many wars overseas, all in the name of God. The church in American life is very important. And why not? They are Christians and their belief in the bible should be respected.

But if it affects our lives and the future of our children then it should not be left unchallenged. I am yet to see an Arab or a Moslem theologian who has taken the challenge to the American people, not on a confrontational platform, but in a dialogue between faiths towards forging a better understanding.

We were not engaged in this area and left the Zionist movement to monopolize it and form allegiances with the various Christian churches in America. Palestinians in particular and Arabs and Muslims in general are paying for this apathy.

Finally: American Interest

This is the untouchable, the unmentionable, the one we are all required to worship. Arab oil and our strategic position in the world have made us a major target for their ever-expanding economy and unquenchable thirst for oil plus their further ambitions around the world. America wants our oil on the cheap; they want to sell us their equipment and technology at a premium and they want to keep us divided and fragmented in the name of the sacred cow that is American Interest and the security and prosperity of their ‘enfant terrible’, Israel.

Why has a great nation like America become so obedient and servile to the interests of another nation in a faraway land?

This question becomes even more poignant when you know full well that without American money, American weaponry and American protection Israel would not survive one moment.

I said it before, but please allow me to remind you yet again of what Moshe Dayan said of you Americans: “Our friends the Americans give us money, give us weapons and give us advice. We take the money, we take the weapons, and we ignore the advice.”

Let me drive this point even harder. Ariel Sharon said of you;

“Don’t worry about America.  We, the Jews own America and the Americans know it.”

Cynical? No. It’s downright insulting. Enough, surely to prove to you that you have been taken for a ride. Yet, the sycophancy and subjugation of your elected officials at the feet of Israel is getting more pathetic every day.

This is what Mr. Obama, your President had to say during his visit to Israel in March last year:<

 “Israel is the most powerful country in the Middle East and Israel has the unshakeable support of the most powerful country in the world.”

In other words, as he is fond of saying, “We will always have Israel’s back.”

Recently, at the funeral of Ariel Sharon your Vice President, Mr. Joe Biden said:

“The United States …has been unflagging in its commitment to the State of Israel.  We have never stepped away.  We have never diminished our support. We have never failed to make Israel’s case around the world.  We have never failed to defend Israel’s legitimacy.”  

And, to top it all, as if to emphasise how firmly under the boot of Israel America really is, this is what the newly elected Mayor of New York, Bill de Blasio, said at a private dinner thrown by AIPAC, the puppet masters of American politics.

“Part of my job description is to be a defender of Israel.”

Really? I thought you were there to defend the people of New York.

And finally to all of you who still believe in the dream, if you want America to be again the ‘Land of The Free’ and ‘The Home of The Brave’ I call upon you to redeem your country from the clutches of Zionism and corporate America. The bankers and the usurers and the profiteers have been manipulating and directing the foreign policy of America for far too long. As you Americans say, follow the money.
