Police Seeking Suspect in Weekend Robbery

The suspect is described as a white male mid 30’s with a thin build, approximately 5'10, and weighs about 160 pounds.

(HARRISBURG) - Linn County Sheriff's deputies are investigating a robbery that occurred at the EZ Stop Market located on 3rd street in Harrisburg.

Linn County Sheriff Tim Mueller says on Saturday at approximately 10:00 PM a male subject entered the store at a time when no other customers were present.

He demanded money from the store clerk, who complied.

The suspect then fled the area on foot.

No one was hurt and no weapon was displayed Mueller said.

A thorough search of the area by several deputies and the K-9 unit was conducted but the suspect was not located.

The suspect is described as a white male mid 30’s with a thin build, approximately 5'10, and weighs about 160 pounds.

He has brown hair and beard and was wearing blue jeans, a green camouflage jacket with a maroon hood and a green ball cap.
