Campaign website signs up 100 new members per minute, racks up 10,000 messages of support within 6 hours of announcement.

Democratic Senator and former first lady Hillary Rodham Clinton entered the 2008 U.S. presidential race on Saturday

(NEW YORK) - Democratic Senator and former first lady Hillary Rodham Clinton entered the 2008 U.S. presidential race on Saturday.

Demonstrating the groundswell of enthusiasm generated by her historic candidacy, Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton’s announcement for President lit up the internet Saturday, garnering rave reviews in the blogosphere, and thousands of supporters flocking to her web site each hour.

Within just six hours of the announcement going live on her campaign web site, Senator Clinton’s candidacy attracted thousands of messages of support, and widespread accolades online.

Clinton candidacy was hailed online as "profoundly moving"; "top tier"; "exciting"; "remarkable"; "smart"; and "news of a generation".

Overwhelming Response Within Hours of Going Live:

SIGN UPS = 100 per minute MESSAGES OF SUPPORT = 10,000 VIDEO WEBCAST SIGN-UPS = 7,700 BLOG CONTEST SUBMISSIONS = 2,200

Hillary Clinton's Annoucement:

I'm in. And I'm in to win.

Today I am announcing that I will form an exploratory committee to run for president.

And I want you to join me not just for the campaign but for a conversation about the future of our country -- about the bold but practical changes we need to overcome six years of Bush administration failures.

I am going to take this conversation directly to the people of America, and I'm starting by inviting all of you to join me in a series of web chats over the next few days.

The stakes will be high when America chooses a new president in 2008.

As a senator, I will spend two years doing everything in my power to limit the damage George W. Bush can do. But only a new president will be able to undo Bush's mistakes and restore our hope and optimism.

Only a new president can renew the promise of America -- the idea that if you work hard you can count on the health care, education, and retirement security that you need to raise your family. These are the basic values of America that are under attack from this administration every day.

And only a new president can regain America's position as a respected leader in the world.

I believe that change is coming November 4, 2008. And I am forming my exploratory committee because I believe that together we can bring the leadership that this country needs. I'm going to start this campaign with a national conversation about how we can work to get our country back on track.

This is a big election with some very big questions. How do we bring the war in Iraq to the right end? How can we make sure every American has access to adequate health care? How will we ensure our children inherit a clean environment and energy independence? How can we reduce the deficits that threaten Social Security and Medicare?

No matter where you live, no matter what your political views, I want you to be a part of this important conversation right at the start. So to begin, I'm going to spend the next several days answering your questions in a series of live video web discussions.

Starting Monday, January 22nd, at 7:00 PM EST for three nights in a row, I'll sit down to answer your questions about how we can work together for a better future. And you can participate live at my website.

Sign up to join the conversation here.

I grew up in a middle-class family in the middle of America, where I learned that we could overcome every obstacle we face if we work together and stay true to our values.

I have worked on issues critical to our country almost all my life. I've fought for children for more than 30 years. In Arkansas, I pushed for education reform. As First Lady, I helped to expand health care coverage to millions of children and to pass legislation that dramatically increased adoptions. I also traveled to China to affirm that women's rights are human rights.

And in the Senate, I have worked across party lines to get billions more for children's health care, to stop the president's plan to privatize Social Security, and to make sure the victims and heroes of 9/11 and our men and women in uniform receive the fair treatment they deserve. In 2006, I led the successful fight to make Plan B contraception available to women without a prescription.

I have spent a lifetime opening opportunities for tens of millions who are working hard to raise a family: new immigrants, families living in poverty, people who have no health care or face an uncertain retirement.

The promise of America is that all of us will have access to opportunity, and I want to run a 2008 campaign that renews that promise, a campaign built on a lifetime record of results.

I have never been afraid to stand up for what I believe in or to face down the Republican machine. After nearly $70 million spent against my campaigns in New York and two landslide wins, I can say I know how Washington Republicans think, how they operate, and how to beat them.

I need you to be a part of this campaign, and I hope you'll start by joining me in this national conversation.

As we campaign to win the White House, we will make history and remake our future. We can only break barriers if we dare to confront them, and if we have the determined and committed support of others.

This campaign is our moment, our chance to stand up for the principles and values that we cherish; to bring new ideas, energy, and leadership to a uniquely challenging time. It's our chance to say "we can" and "we will."

Let's go to work. America's future is calling us.

No, No, No, not this woman. There are too many things that add up to Hillary being involved in Vince Foster's death. I would like to see a woman in the White House but not this woman and not Bill again. Read the info on the URL below. http://www.whatreallyhappened.com/RANCHO/POLITICS/FOSTER_COVERUP/foster.html

If Hillary wins (or one of her close knit buddies) it's the end of the country and the world as we know it. We are on that path already and after the immigration bill got shot down (which i am glad it was stopped, the people spoke and for the first time in a while they didn't/couldn't ignore the way they have been. Some politicians had said things like "Well a bad bill is better than no bill." Well I feel that if your going to do it don't do it half-assed, do it right the first time. Something does need to be done but that bill was not in the best interest, and the people were not convinced) but now we can be assured that tons of illegals will turn out on election day to make sure that her or Obama are a sure win.... which isn't right they shouldn't be voting anyhow but unfortuneatly they will. We need to stop her and her phony cronies from wrecking what little is left of the country and our freedom. I think we need to get people aware of whats really going on, there are a lot of people who have no interest in politics and no knowledge and just don't vote at all, or just go pull the lever of the party they belong to. But it doesnt matter what party you belong to its about what candidate supports what you believe in the best. So fight for the good guys like Ron Paul for 2008 because he's one of our last hopes, and get other people aware and fight for him.

RON PAUL 2008, AMERICA'S LAST HOPE.

Craig March 27, 2007 6:01 pm (Pacific time)

Hillary is a great danger to the US and the world. So is GWB but at least he is not the crook that Hillary IS KNOWN to be.

S.LaMarche February 11, 2007 6:02 am (Pacific time)

for your information, Obama is a professing Christian, for whatever value you care to place on such a statement of faith. He is willing to interact with Muslims and us honkies too! When has this opportunity been feasible! You talk of "experience"., and neglect to look at recent history let alone a century, or two.,or three ago, when many of these problems originated., and all the way back to the tenth century to modern Istambul for that matter. It's a big world and communication is what will save it. The "experienced" politicians of past administrations.,save those who have admitted their mistakes, (only a fraction of them), have done Nothing but arm us and the world with more weapons of "mass destruction".,with my own country leading the market in the sales of arms worldwide! Obama could turn to Islam if he wants to, it used to be a free country, I was told. This election is about America turning the government back to the people, and I for one think Obama's own mind is capable of putting action above "experiencing" the further destruction from this present administrations policies., and stop them. I've personally heard enough about God.,I would rather hear and be part of people treating each other like they ought to and not trying to wipe humanity from the planet. I am naive I'm sure, but I hope for this.

Albert Marnell January 26, 2007 10:44 am (Pacific time)

Correction: With regards to government contractors, I meant to write Blackwater not Blackwell. Blackwater is the evil brainchild of Eric Prince. The Prince of getting government contracts for his own benefit.

Billy January 22, 2007 7:57 pm (Pacific time)

If Hillary wins and if she is our only hope. God help us.

wahoo news: January 22, 2007 12:52 am (Pacific time)

Flash! Chavez offers suggstion on U.S. foreign policy!., this reporter has just learned what most of you know already, that Hugo Chavez.,a unifier if there ever was one, has offered to direct further attempts by the U.S. in today's bi-lateral trade and infrastructure discussions.,"Gringo's,go to Hell!" was clearly heard directly into the micarophone rather than normally captured "off camera"...,in dubbed in English I presume. More later as long as they let me get away with it., wahoo out.

Dr. Bob and Raven, Read about the DLC before you believe that Celery will cure all. It is a decent vegetable but does not have life saving properties. You have been fooled into thinking that there is much difference between parties. The only party that I am concerned with is the one with the best Champagne. Who has more power...Celery Clinton or WalMart? Exon Mobil or Celery? Celery is jus another cheap vegetable. Bush is a criminal.....what a choice. And the bottom line is that you should be more concerned about what people like Lee Raymond or Susan Eisenhower are up to. On the internet you can subscribe to Who's Who of the Global Elite by Robert Gaylon Ross Sr. Will you bother? Of course not. So live in a brainwashed fantasy that the Billionares do not control Celery or George's Bush. The only difference is that George's Bush has alot of green leaves in it. Celery just has earth worms.

Raven January 21, 2007 1:16 pm (Pacific time)

Hillary is more than qualified to run for President. I would not vote for her because she leans way too far to the left. It would be nice to find someone who was not so stuck to their party line and actually do what is best for the American people.

?? January 21, 2007 1:10 pm (Pacific time)

yea, what Ostan said,, Hillary? figures for the 1st woman to be nominated is the wife of one of the sleeziest the white house has seen. Couldnt someone of higher caliber as the 1st female run??? it figures.

Dr. Bob January 21, 2007 9:49 am (Pacific time)

Hillary may not be 'la Madonna', but I think she has the intelligence and guts to pull this country back to where it needs to be. Under the Bush mis-administration, we've lost direction chasing the almighty dollar. War is the last resort of the ignorant and oddly enough, one of those things so readily agreed to by those who would not partake. This is the first candidate since Gerald Ford that I've felt has something to offer the American voters in terms of real returns. You go Girl!

Henry Ruark January 21, 2007 8:43 am (Pacific time)

"Wit, will and wisdom of the people" are about to be tested as never before...so listen, learn, and cogitate carefully before making your inevitable choice and "doing your duty" to vote. Despite corporate power, perversion of politics, and distortion in distended press, we can still seize not only the initiative but our own destiny...if we will.

Albert Marnell January 21, 2007 8:15 am (Pacific time)

For those of you who do not know what the DLC is. Look it up in Wikipedia. It is the Democratic Leadership Council and is no different than the Republican party now in power. Yes, Bill Clinton was head of it in 90-91. Do you think that Hillary is not involved with them? It is controlled and beholden to corporate interests. She is absolutely no different, just evil in a different way. Get rid of all these people.

Albert Marnell January 21, 2007 7:58 am (Pacific time)

I have such disdain for the college girl mentality that romanticizes everyone from Hillary Clinton to Sylvia Plath.

Albert Marnell January 21, 2007 7:56 am (Pacific time)

Thank you Rob Sandera for reminding people that the military has been privatized and many people, not only Bush and Cheney have made Billions. Blackwell, Global Risks, Sandline, Kellog, Brown and Root, the Carlyle Group are just a few of the examples of private corporations that our government pays with our tax dollars to fight this quest for oil. This war is not about women wearing Birkas. It is about profit in the pockets of the corrupt people that run the United States. Don't forget Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands. She does not have wooden shoes on her mind. Even though she dresses like a queen she is covered with oil.

Charles Holtzback January 21, 2007 6:22 am (Pacific time)

The majority of American citizens are in favor of a number of things by vast majorities. Such as securing the border and enforcing our immigration laws, stopping the exporting of jobs to third world countries, English as the official language of the USA, no more restrictive gun laws, etc. I believe that the Republicans lost the last election because they ignored the wishes of the American people. Will you pledge to follow the wishes of the majority of the American people and restore true representative government?

Woody January 21, 2007 5:31 am (Pacific time)

Hillary, you are our only hope!!!!!

Rob Sandera January 21, 2007 3:13 am (Pacific time)

People are mistaken its all corrupt and pointless etc. It can all be turned around read my home page at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/candidates-for-pennsylvania/ 2 People in this Country changed it for the worse George W Bush and Dick Cheney they have privatized our military and made Billions off their war. God will bless those who are right. Read my site and support all new Democratic candidates as they are the only hope average Americans have.

Albert Marnell January 20, 2007 9:27 pm (Pacific time)

Dear Hillary, I have your response letter in front of me regarding the inclusion of Benzodiazepines in Medicare Part D. Bill# H.R. 3151 is still sitting around. I wrote to you January 22, 2006. Your response is dated April 28, 2006. Nothing has changed. As a matter of fact I feel that the issue is more lost then ever. You obviously have already been influenced by powers greater than yourself or are all over the place and not focused. Your formal education does not impress me. I expect results and getting to know the issues with more than polite responses that you participate in the discussions on the issues before the United States Senate. I want to know what the morons in the Senate are saying and why they have not done a darn thing yet. I have given you more than enough rope to hang yourself with on one very important issue. You have been hanging for a very long time. Let me make it clear that I am no fan of the Bush Bin Laden family. How are you so different? Nothing has changed.

Albert Marnell January 20, 2007 8:43 pm (Pacific time)

Unfortunately it does not matter who is in the White House. You must do what the large corporations and international banks want. The only people that have become even candidates for presidency are those that have attended Bilderberg meetings. That is why Jimmy Carter came out of no where. Somehow he got hooked in with the Bilderberg and the Council on Foreign Relations (Euphemism for Bilderberg No#2). We are globalized. Don't get happy so fast. Democrat or Republican these people are all figure heads and are full of it. I used to really like her until I found out how things really work. She is just another pawn and could not fight the status quo even if she wanted to....I question if she wants to. She has gone to Bilderberg meetings.

Anonymous January 20, 2007 8:41 pm (Pacific time)

Dont tell me her six years in the US Senate equals Obama's 12 years in the IL State legislature and two years in the US Senate. It doesn't. Obama did it on his own merit without an ex-Prez helping him and a secret service detail. He paid his dues. She hasn't. She's just helped herself to history because she feels entitled. The common people in her constituency cant get anywhere near her because of her security detail . . . only the money people.

Dan Petit January 20, 2007 8:13 pm (Pacific time)

After seeing Speaker Pelosi's success, it is clear that it is time to also support Senator Clinton as well, without any reservations whatsoever. The members of the status quo have had their chance to perform, and have been unsuccessful to say the least. It is their time to step aside, but be respected also as partners in addressing the needed changes. Dan Petit, Austin, Texas.

canada January 20, 2007 8:09 pm (Pacific time)

Realistically that is not that many comments of support,if it's even true(10,000) for a country of 300,000,000. Hopefully that's it too. She reminds me of Martha Stewart.

osotan January 20, 2007 8:07 pm (Pacific time)

Hillary is DLC, Walmart, Iraq War, Patriot Act. You seriously want to vote for that? You poor fools. :(

Anonymous January 20, 2007 7:48 pm (Pacific time)

"I need you to be a part of this campaign, and I hope you'll start by joining me in this national conversation" This maddens me. What we are all doing now is called publicity, we are only fueling the fire. Read the writing all the walls people, disagreeing or not, you are only helping her. We need truth not opinion, action not talk, now not plan. "I need you..." she says, sycophantism is the translation

Ann in Portland January 20, 2007 7:42 pm (Pacific time)

J Kerri wrote: "Here, for maybe the first time ever, an African-American has a chance at heading the national ticket, and Hillary now reduces that chance. I think she needs to stand behind her rhetoric about affirmative action!" Wow! Please keep the anti-white racism out of this. Experience in policy making and governance - and integrity - are qualifiers. Obama has not demonstrated any of this. You go Hillary! You've got the brains. You've got 20 years experience. You're a proven winner. And you've been there before.

Bob Harrington January 20, 2007 7:27 pm (Pacific time)

Jimmy Smith, if Ms Clinton wins and you move to Canada, the only loser will be Canada.

Ms. Foster January 20, 2007 7:25 pm (Pacific time)

Ms. Clinton is not a good candidate for president. She is a woman and voting for her only because of that would be a mistake. She will not win. It is true that this administration has not been perfect and that is not a reason for voting her in, either. She must stand on her own, and fortunately, with Mr. Clinton by her side, she cannot do so. She will lose.

Lady H. January 20, 2007 7:19 pm (Pacific time)

I'd rather vote for Hillary than Obama (a Muslim!!!) At least Hillary is a Christian per say(Carnal one).

J January 20, 2007 7:09 pm (Pacific time)

Want to go to war with Iran? Vote for Hillary. She is a wholly owned subsidiary of AIPAC, which is committed to bring this country to war with Iran in the same way they worked (often illegally ) to influence our decision to go to Iraq. Two of their highest officials will soon go on trial for espionage that involved sending classified US intel on Iran to Israel in order to influence US policy. furthermore, Hillary just met with Avigdor Lieberman, the knesset official that is working to ethnically cleanse large numbers of Israeli arabs. He is the closest thing Israel has to the grand Dragon of the KKK and Hillary willing meets with him. He also happens to be in charge of creating Israels policies on Iran.

Christine January 20, 2007 7:09 pm (Pacific time)

If Hillary wins, the end of the world will soon follow. I am not surprised though, if she read her Bible, she'd know she was actually helping the end of the world come.

George Smith January 20, 2007 7:07 pm (Pacific time)

As one of the millions that can't afford health care and work at minimum wage jobs, I hope to vote for Hillary Clinton as I agree with and support her on the issues. I'm tired of our mean spirited Fed Government that don't care if people live or die.

Jon January 20, 2007 7:04 pm (Pacific time)

Another thing, about you guys saying how great she is. Ideally, we need a president who stands up for what they believe. Her husband cheated on her, yet she did nothing. Is this the kind of back bone we need in the white in these crucial times? How is she a model for american women when the divorce rate is 3.6% per 1000 population.

Itsticking January 20, 2007 7:03 pm (Pacific time)

The end of the world is really near...signs...Hillary is running for pres...time is ticking. I hope you guys are ready. Don't want to get left behind esp. if Hillary is the president.

Obama-Clinton. Clinton Obama. sounds good to me.

"Happy" January 20, 2007 6:58 pm (Pacific time)

Like most republicans this brings a BIG Smile to my face.

Osotan January 20, 2007 6:58 pm (Pacific time)

James.,no I don't think republicans are logical any more than humanity in general but Hillary? when did she do her own dishes last? her range of practical experience is an accident if it ever happened at all, not to do with gender, not party affiliation., just where do her talents lie? They are proffessional faces, elite detatched rich folks who are like Kerry or Condi. they can't talk to or interact with those not in their immediate circle, and reflect their own interests rather than the "peoples" in my observation. I mean no division but I think this is another political trick and there are better choices than the present occupancy of the white house., but Hillary?

Jon January 20, 2007 6:57 pm (Pacific time)

I will say only because it is the truth and it needs to be said. America has anticipated a woman in the white house for several years, she will win not because she's hillary, or because of anything she has done, but because she is a woman. another reason, a woman president is new, since 'the man' has advertised to the youth,(rock the vote), they will enforce this idea because it is new, like the ps3 they kill for. new. thats it, the only reason. new.

Joanne January 20, 2007 6:56 pm (Pacific time)

Hooray! You'll have my support, Hillary. We need change and you are the best to achieve it, along with Nancy Pelosi in the House.

Wf January 20, 2007 6:55 pm (Pacific time)

Maybe she can do something about illegal immigration...in California we are being overrun by Mexicans they have children here and expect social services. If your born of illegal parents that doesnt make you an AMERICAN. Hillary do something!!!

J Kerri January 20, 2007 6:55 pm (Pacific time)

Here, for maybe the first time ever, an African-American has a chance at heading the national ticket, and Hillary now reduces that chance. I think she needs to stand behind her rhetoric about affirmative action!

Timofeo January 20, 2007 6:54 pm (Pacific time)

This is another example of the Democratic party projecting their image of what they think a leader is (Kerry was the last one) and they are completely out of touch with the rank and file of the democratic party -- another elitist, do-nothing candidate from the Northeast. That Bush is bad is no reason to endorse her. We don't need the Clinton's back in the White House - they brought us 9/11 and will be weak in the face of our enemies. And, Americans will never vote in a black or a female president, sorry, don't shoot the messenger (and now that we know that Obama is really a Muslim, according to the rules of Islam...)

Craig Scott January 20, 2007 6:54 pm (Pacific time)

Hilary's health plan that failed would have paid for abortions for those who had optional sex but exempted those with hearing problems from coverage. I am a father raising a family with a hearing problem. We do not want some one who is so cold and uncaring to be willing to cut out a less vocal but just as important group. Her values are what is politicaly handy at the time. Lets hope she does not make it or we have a good 3rd party canidate.

Diddy January 20, 2007 6:53 pm (Pacific time)

OBAMA OBAMA OBAMA!

Michael January 20, 2007 6:52 pm (Pacific time)

If you want the worst possible 4 years after Bush to happen then vote for this self rightious ego maniac. If you vote democrat vote for Obama. At least he sounds like he cares about the American people

Ben January 20, 2007 6:52 pm (Pacific time)

America needs a leader, not a politician.

Indiana gal January 20, 2007 6:52 pm (Pacific time)

Good for Hillary and good for America...Goodbye to all the lies from the Bush years.

Travis January 20, 2007 6:51 pm (Pacific time)

Her Husband couldn't do it, what makes her think she can? Shouldn't she talk more about how to help the country instead of how to beat the Republicans. I would rather vote for a monkey.

Raymond Hartwick January 20, 2007 6:48 pm (Pacific time)

Bush people will try to destroy her tying her to Bill Clinton but she is very smart, well informed and it is time for a women to run this country after all the men have been doing a horrible job.I will vote for hillary.

Ben January 20, 2007 6:31 pm (Pacific time)

Hillary is a 1,000 times better candidate than the idiot that's there now-and i mean IDIOT.

Gwen January 20, 2007 6:31 pm (Pacific time)

I will pray daily that we will be spared having an idiot like Hillary as our President--Lord deliver us!!!

Verona Tuten January 20, 2007 6:31 pm (Pacific time)

You don't have any competition Hillary. This country hasn't had a leader in a very long time. Let's go. (Take every precaution with your safety, the last thing that many would want is for America to have a strong leader.)

Four years of this ego maniac combined with her lack of morality God help us.

Amanda January 20, 2007 6:29 pm (Pacific time)

I can and I will vote for Hilary.

anonymous January 20, 2007 6:28 pm (Pacific time)

Ophra for president instead!

RMH January 20, 2007 6:28 pm (Pacific time)

We already have opportunity in this country! We don't need Hilary to undo everything Bush has accomplished!

James January 20, 2007 6:27 pm (Pacific time)

Hillary illogical? Do you think the Republicans are logical, Osotan? Generally in this country we capitalize proper nouns like names. I think Hillary is the only politician, that has the right amount of intelligence and vision, to lead this country out of it's Bush nightmare.

Anonymous January 20, 2007 6:26 pm (Pacific time)

Her campaign is about "nothing." And she said "nothing." Thanks for the tip off and titilation!

David January 20, 2007 6:25 pm (Pacific time)

Hillary makes as much sense as anyone for president in 2008. Who or what could be worse than this? Perhaps it's time for a woman to be in the whitehouse. Plus, Bill Clinton would make such a great first-husband.

Surly January 20, 2007 6:25 pm (Pacific time)

Millions will vote against Hillary who have never before voted ... just watch.

joe January 20, 2007 6:24 pm (Pacific time)

blow

henk January 20, 2007 6:24 pm (Pacific time)

excellent

Jimmy Cook January 20, 2007 6:24 pm (Pacific time)

If that crazy woman wins I am moving to Canada.

MIKE the MAN January 20, 2007 6:23 pm (Pacific time)

No!!!

Oracle January 20, 2007 6:23 pm (Pacific time)

A woman or African American US president is inevitable, so you might as well get used to it. Enough with the boring white middle aged cranky dudes!

Tony January 20, 2007 6:23 pm (Pacific time)

certainly will be an improvement over what we have now. And at least they've got 8 years experience.

Juan Cantu January 20, 2007 6:22 pm (Pacific time)

I hope you will win good luck and I will vote for you.

Goody January 20, 2007 6:22 pm (Pacific time)

Hillary all the way to WH

Brandon January 20, 2007 6:22 pm (Pacific time)

Senator Clinton is the right person for this job. This is a great day in our Nation's history.

david bowin January 20, 2007 6:22 pm (Pacific time)

this lady is a joke. America, although ready for someone else besides Bush, is not ready for Mrs. Clinton.

Skyler January 20, 2007 6:22 pm (Pacific time)

The only reason she will ever win is because she is a woman. She doesn't deserve it, but this country does love handing leadership positions to women even when they don't deserve it.

hillary will win January 20, 2007 6:20 pm (Pacific time)

she deserves it; and i would rather have a smart woman run this country than a jack a--!!!

Sakiusa January 20, 2007 6:19 pm (Pacific time)

You've got to be kidding me, a double hearted, no stance person will not win the white house...she will not win

Nigel Mayfield January 20, 2007 6:19 pm (Pacific time)

Hello I am a supporter of Hillary Clinton and when she announced my website www.WeMissTheClintons.com got a couple thousand hits a.d a couple hundred orders of her bumper stickers. Take Care. Nigel

Karen January 20, 2007 6:18 pm (Pacific time)

I think it's fantastic. Maybe once she's president, we can get past all of the "us versus them" and get back to what's best for this country.

jim V January 20, 2007 6:16 pm (Pacific time)

Let Kindness prevail!!!

Rick January 20, 2007 6:15 pm (Pacific time)

This isn't just about "whether the nation is ready for Hillary".. it is about whether the nation wants the same "Hillary and Bill" team running the nation AGAIN. I think not..

Preston Lewis January 20, 2007 6:11 pm (Pacific time)

1. Gerald Ford is probably to BEST president we've had since Truman. Honest, hardworking, ethical, partisan and the list goes on. Hillary is a smart, outspoken, non-crazy (like Bush) who can likely unite the nation. So I don't know what planet you are from. I can certainly understand you right wing religious Republicans insulting Hillary but Ford? He was better than Reagan. And this from a moderate Republican. You're losing members of your own party. I'd gladly vote Hillary rather than Quail or whatever idiot the religious right annoints to be their Republican leader.

RndPwn@gmail.com January 20, 2007 6:10 pm (Pacific time)

I have to agree with Osotan. There are much better Dem candidates and Hillary is worse then all the Bush's combined.

Barb January 20, 2007 6:09 pm (Pacific time)

Its about time a woman ran. She is just what this country needs.

Mary January 20, 2007 6:07 pm (Pacific time)

Hillary will win!

Osotan January 20, 2007 5:36 pm (Pacific time)

naming an aircraft carrier after Gerald Ford is as logical as hillary in the oval office.,I hope the dems got a deeper well.
