(BEND, Ore.) - The Memorial arrangements have been set for Sgt. Zachary McBride, a U.S. Army soldier who lost his life in Sinsil, Iraq on January 9th 2008 when he was struck with the blast from an improvised explosive device.

The Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 19th at 1:00 PM at the Eastmont Church located at 62425 Eagle Road, Bend, Oregon.

As there is limited seating at the church the family has arranged for an Open Visitation at the Church on Friday from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and again from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

This Visitation ceremony will allow the local community the opportunity to pay their respects as overcrowding will be an issue at Saturday's Memorial Service.

Interment is scheduled for 12:00 PM on Sunday, January 20th at Willamette National Cemetery.

Full military honors will be performed by the Military Funeral Honors Team from the Oregon National Guard.
