(OREGON CITY) - A two-car head on crash sent two people to the hospital early Monday morning. The accident happened on State Route 213 near Milepost 6, about half a mile south of LeLand Road. Investigators with Oregon State Police say that around 3:34 AM a Ford Ranger pick up collided with a Honda Accord sedan. The driver of the Honda Accord was 47-year old Jon McGrath from West Linn. He was taken by Life Flight helicopter to the Oregon Health Sciences University trauma center and is in serious condition. The driver of the Ford Ranger Pick up was 62-year old Wesley Droz Junior from Gladstone. He was transported by ground ambulance to Willamette Falls Hospital and he is in stable condition. The highway remained closed until just after 8:00 AM, while troopers conducted their crash investigation. Drugs and or alcohol may have been a factor. The highway was not icy at the time of the crash. The investigation continues.
