(Keizer) - Police in Keizer have been looking hard for the suspects in the pumpkin-throwing property damage spree that happened late last October. Keizer Police Sgt Jeff Isham says the agency`s Community Response Team wrapped up their investigation Thursday, and arrested two Keizer teens in connection with the case.

Isham says the investigation started after 27 Criminal Mischief calls that were received over a two day period beginning October 29th 2005, that all had to do with pumpkins being thrown and causing damage to houses, vehicles and mailboxes. The estimated property damage was $7,481.00.

17-year old Timothy R. Thorton and 17-year old Timothy C. Short, both of Keizer, were arrested and charged with Aggravated Criminal Mischief, 27 counts of Criminal Mischief II, Theft II, 27 counts of Conspiracy to Commit Criminal Mischief and Conspiracy to Commit Theft.

Both were transported to the Marion County Juvenile Detention Facility.
