Babysitting workshops are very important. Please search for available classes and programs in your area.

Original Story: The Keizer Fire District will be holding its annual Babysitting Workshop beginning at the end of January.

All classes will be held in the Community Room of the Keizer Fire Station, 661 Chemawa Rd. NE in Keizer.

Class hours are 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM each night. The class runs for six weeks ending on March 6th.

Students must be 12-years-old by January 31st to register for this class.

Pre-registration is required as class size is limited to 30 students.

There is no cost for the workshop.

Participants in the workshop will study emergency first aid procedures, breathing emergencies, fire and police emergency procedures, the care and handling of infants, how to plan safe activities and ways to effectively communicate with children.

Students who successfully complete the program will be presented a certificate of completion from the Keizer Fire District.
