(WASHINGTON, D.C.) - President Bush has declared a major disaster exists in the State of Oregon and ordered Federal aid to supplement State and local recovery efforts in the area struck by a severe winter storm and flooding during the period of December 14th-15th, 2006. Federal funding is available to State and eligible local governments and certain private nonprofit organizations on a cost-sharing basis for emergency work and the repair or replacement of facilities damaged by the severe winter storm and flooding in Benton, Clatsop, Columbia, Lincoln, Polk, Tillamook, Wheeler, and Yamhill Counties, and the Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians. Federal funding is also available on a cost-sharing basis for hazard mitigation measures statewide. R. David Paulison, Director, Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Department of Homeland Security, named Glen R. Sachtleben as the Federal Coordinating Officer for Federal recovery operations in the affected area. The Agency said additional designations may be made at a later date if requested by the State and warranted by the results of further damage assessments. O-T: "Right"-handed ?!! Where do you think these terrible blows to Constitution and every American class are coming from ? Same outmoded 19th Century ideological myth and mistique as still threatening Oregon Legislative session pledged to produce "cooperation and full consensus" for practical public policies and payment therefor...

Whenever I see his face or his speeches, I just turn the page. The best tactic to deal this man and his cohorts is to ignore them. When he gives a speech; just do not show up! Let the press show that people want nothing to do with him.
