(TILLAMOOK COUNTY, Ore.) - One lane of OR 131 two miles east of Oceanside in Tillamook County is now open to travelers. The road was closed over the weekend when a sink hole developed caused by a failed culvert. Starting this morning, flaggers will control two-way traffic 24/7. ODOT engineers are designing a repair and the road will likely be closed at some point for a contractor to do the repairs. The Cape Mears Loop Road will continue to be used as a detour during periods when OR 131 is completely closed.
