New UMJI Office-Bearers

New office-bearers of the Union of Minority Journalists Islamabad (UMJI)

(ISLAMABAD) - New office-bearers of the Union of Minority Journalists Islamabad (UMJI) for the next two years were elected here before the conclusion of delegates meeting of the organization.

While Tariq Chaman was elected unopposed as president, Terence J Sigamony was elected secretary-general and Shamim Masih was selected as Public Affairs Coordinator (Information Secretary) in the polling held at the National Press Club in Islamabad.

David Sosheel (Photo Journalist), and Imtiaz Chughtai was elected Vice President, and joint secretary respectively, while Sardar Heera Lal was selected unopposed as treasurer.

Adil Gill, Tania Jamshed, Julius, Munir Maish, Rohail Rehmat and Vincent David were selected as general body members of Union.

E Philip and Ambrose Joseph were elected as the members of the executive council of the UMJI.
