OR 34 near Lebanon Restricted for Two Days (UPDATE)

Travelers should anticipate delays and increased congestion during peak travel times.

(LEBANON, Ore.) - OR 34 (Corvallis-Lebanon Hwy.) will remain restricted to a single lane of travel in each direction approximately one mile west of Lebanon (MP15.7) for the next two days and possibly longer.

A dozen power poles and multiple power lines fell into the eastbound lanes of the highway after strong winds earlier today.

The utility has informed ODOT that it may be two days or more before the necessary repairs can be made. Therefore, two-way traffic will be restricted to the westbound lanes. Travelers should anticipate delays and increased congestion, and use extreme caution while traveling through the area.

(Previous release:) OR 34 (Corvallis-Lebanon Hwy.) will be restricted to a single lane of traffic in each direction all day today and into tonight, after a wind event downed as many as a dozen power poles and multiple power lines.

The poles and lines are blocking the eastbound lanes. The westbound lanes will be used to carry a single lane in each direction until the poles and lines can be repaired.

Travelers should anticipate delays and increased congestion during peak travel times.
