Deputies on Scene of Fatal Motor Vehicle Crash

The fatal accident will be investigated throughout the day.

(AURORA, Ore.) - The Marion County Sheriff's Office Traffic Safety Team is on scene of a two vehicle crash, on Arndt Road NE, near Aurora. The initial investigation shows that a commercial truck traveling east on Arndt Road collided with a pickup truck traveling westbound.

The driver of the commercial truck is not injured and cooperating with investigators, tragically the driver of the pickup truck has been pronounced dead at the scene.

Arndt Road is closed at Airport Road NE and at S. Knight Road in Clackamas County. The traffic safety team will be on scene most of the day and the closure will remain in effect until the investigation is complete.

The Sheriff's Office does not anticipate any further release regarding this crash until later tomorrow.
