Salem Drug Raids Lead to Three Arrests

In the two raids, police seized drugs and weapons.

(SALEM) - At 7:00 AM Friday morning, Marion County Street Crimes Detectives, assisted by Salem Police drug investigators, served search warrants simultaneously at two homes seizing methamphetamine, guns and drug paraphernalia.

The first was 1733 Park Ave NE.

Seized from that home was more than 3 oz of methamphetamine and paraphernalia associated with the use of meth.

The resident 44-year-old Jose Miquel-Angel, was arrested on charges of Possession and Distribution of a controlled Substance and Maintaining a Place Where Controlled Substances are Used.

The second residence was 5379 Baxter Ct SE.

From that home detectives seized what they called small user amounts of methamphetamine, a rifle and handgun and drug paraphernalia.

Arrested were 22-year-old Annesha Brockett and 46-year-old Galen Bryce Copple, both of Salem.

Both were charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Frequenting a Place Where Controlled Substances are Used.

Miquel-Angel was lodged at the Marion County Jail.

The other two arrested were cited and released.
