(SALEM, Ore.) - Russia’s Ambassador in Tunisia Sergey Nikolaev last October 6 emphasized that Tunisia is serious to fight the terrorists in the region. He also said that Russia's military operation against ISIS positions in Syria is more effective than America's coalition. Farhat Horchani, Minister of National Defense of Tunisia, during a meeting with his French counterpart announced that his country will cooperate with anti-ISIS coalition in the framework of intelligence cooperation. According to the report, a contract worth 20 million Euros was signed in a recent meeting between French Defense Minister and Tunisian Defense Minister to strengthen and train the special Tunisian forces. It is worthy to mention that Caid Essebsi, Tunisian President, invited Vladimir Putin, Russian President, to visit Tunisia. The Tunisian Presidential Palace earlier declared that the date of Putin's trip to Tunisia will be determined & announced soon. _________________________________________
