Matt I am also another one of those individuals who see global warming as a scam (tens of millions of us and growing). As far as the so-called "10th warmest on record", you understand that this record is abbreviated, right? Ice is growing in the south pole, and overall more ice on the planet is increasing. The artic ice has been freezing earlier for the last few years. Ever watch "Ice Road Truckers" on the discovery channel? They have been driving over the frozen Canadian waterways and parts of the Artic Ocean for over 40 years and have been traversing the same geography without noticable impact of warming causing them to alter their schedules in any major way. Please recall Greenland received it's name centuries ago for the reason that agriculture was going on. As it is the public is starting to wise up as per polls at least in Europe, where taxes and fees have been quite active in this scam, e.g. in Denmark you have to pay a fee to fire up the grill! I expect congress to start to attempt to pass legislation fairly soon, using global warming as the reason for new taxes/fees. As you know Matt, anytime a new tax, fee, or federal entitlement program is created, it becomes for all practical purposes, immortal, it never dies. When the radicals say all debate is over, then they demean literally thousands of scientists for saying it's a scam, then you are observing fascist tactics. Though anytime we can put in programs to reduce pollution and enhance energy efficiency, I say go for it, but it must be done in a way that has good objective(empirical) science behind it, not emotional subjectivity that ignores peer reviewed science, in my opinion.

Anyone that thinks we do not affect weather is completely ignorant. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/science/nature/7786060.stm This is the coolest year since 2000 according to that article but still the 10th warmest on record? Ocean Acidification? That is caused by the increase CO2 Level. How much tax revenue has this so called scam of global warming raised so far Frosty?

More and more scientists (including scientists from the United Nations)have been switching over to say global warming is not manmade and it is a scam for purposes such as generating tax and fee revenue, along with placating the enviro-extremists. CNN Meteorologist Chad Myers had never bought into the notion that man can alter the climate and the Vegas snowstorm didn’t impact his opinion. Myers, an American Meteorological Society certified meteorologist, explained on CNN’s Dec. 18 “Lou Dobbs Tonight” that the whole idea is arrogant and mankind was in danger of dying from other natural events more so than global warming. “You know, to think that we could affect weather all that much is pretty arrogant,” Myers said. “Mother Nature is so big, the world is so big, the oceans are so big – I think we’re going to die from a lack of fresh water or we’re going to die from ocean acidification before we die from global warming, for sure.” Myers is the second CNN meteorologist to challenge the global warming conventions common in the media. He also said trying to determine patterns occurring in the climate would be difficult based on such a short span
