COUNTIES/REGIONAL:

Multnomah County: Capitol Hill Library and Hillsdale Library are closed today. All other Multnomah County libraries will close at 6 pm today (Monday)

Multnomah County Health Department's Latino Family Summit at Lifegate Baptist Church in mid-county tonight (Monday) is canceled.

Multnomah Co. Gvmnt.: Capitol Hill Library and Hillsdale Library are closed today due to weather conditions. Other Multnomah County libraries will close early at 3 pm Sunday due to weather conditions.

TRANSPORTATION:

The Wheatland Ferry is closed due to weather and will remain closed until further notice.

C-TRAN Update #1 (12/14/08)
In preparation for tomorrow morning's commute (Monday morning), C-TRAN has announced that it's Route #190 Marquam Hill Express will be on a snow route. At this time, all other C-TRAN's Express routes with service to downtown Portland will remain on regular routes. This could change based on conditions tomorrow morning.

All other C-TRAN routes are expected to be operating on their normal routes tomorrow. For customers, C-TRAN's Passenger Service Office will open at 5:00am in the morning, and information will be regularly updated on C-TRAN's web page at www.c-tran.com.

BUSINESSES:

Businesses: Intel: Intel is open for normal operations, and it is Intel's intent to remain open during all regularly scheduled workdays regardless of weather conditions. Nevertheless, employees should use their own good judgment and assess their personal situation around travel risk. All construction projects are still scheduled. All contractors are asked to check in with their supervisor regarding their decision to come to work. Contractors at the Ronler Acres facility are asked to use the parking lot west of the main Padgate. Some icy conditions have been noted in parking lots, and we have initiated sanding, gravel, and de-icer placements; however, please drive and walk carefully on the campuses. Daimler Trucks North America (Previously Freightliner LLC): As of 8:30 PM Sunday, December 14, Daimler Trucks North America's Portland facilities will be open for regular operations on Monday. As always, you are urged to use your own personal judgment in determining whether or not road conditions are safe for driving.

Xerox - Wilsonville: The Xerox Wilsonville campus will be closed for day shift on 12-15-2008.

STATE MILITARY DEPARTMENT

Oregon Civil Air Patrol: Civil Air Patrol - Portland Air Base meeting canceled for December 15

Oregon National Guard: Only mission essential personnel are required to report to the Oregon Military Department's Fleet Management Services at Camp Withycombe in Clackamas, in Tigard, in Forest Grove, and the Kliever Armory.

Portland Air National Guard Base will be closed, and Kingsley Field in Klamath Falls is on minimum staffing.

All other facilities will operate on normal schedules.

FEDERAL:

US Army Corps of Engineers, Portland District: Delayed start. Employees need to report by 10:00 AM.
