(DALLAS, Ore.) - A Dallas, Oregon man was arrested by Oregon State Police Wednesday for unlawfully keeping approximately $180,000.00 of Oregon Liquor Control Commission liquor sales at his Dallas-area store. 57-year old Michael Gene Mollgaard now faces multiple aggravated theft charges over the allegations. Mollgaard was arrested on ten counts of first-degree Aggravated Theft following an indictment by the Polk County Grand Jury. State Police say Mollgaard was the focus of a one-year investigation that started in November 2006, after an OLCC audit discovered a substantial shortage of reported sales profits from his liquor store at 180 SE Mill Street in Dallas. Story continues below OSP Detective Gregg Withers arrested Mollgaard without incident at his Dallas-area home. He was lodged in the Polk County Jail.
