The Third Intifada and Israel's Repeated Failures in Dividing Palestine

A Hamas leader says Palestinians' withdrawal of the third Intifada could lead to losing Aqsa mosque as well as major parts of Palestine.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Israel is trying to increase the desecration of Al-Aqsa Mosque and if Palestinians do not show any reaction, the Zionist regime will soon fully join areas "C" to the other occupied territories.

According to Ali Baraka from Hamas, the group's representative in Lebanon, "Israel is continuing to desecrate holy Aqsa Mosque to separate areas "C" from Palestine completely and add them to the occupied territories and also force Palestinians to leave these areas."

He added that Palestinians' withdrawal of the third Intifada, especially those living in the West Bank could lead to losing Aqsa mosque as well as major parts of Palestine.

He appealed to Palestinians and Palestinian youth to lead a third intifada to the areas "C" and take out the control of these areas from the Zionist regime.

The areas "C" on the basis of the Oslo accords are the areas of the West Bank which are under Israel's control.
