(ALBANY, Ore.) - Detectives are investigating a kidnapping that occurred on December 4th in the Crawfordsville area. Linn County Sheriff Tim Mueller says that as a result of the investigation, a search warrant was executed on December 5th at 38385 Crawfordsville Drive, which is approximately six miles south of Sweet Home. The kidnap victim, a 35-year old woman, is acquainted with the suspects. Police say she was assaulted and incurred minor injuries, then was allowed to leave the residence. Linn County Sheriff's detectives have determined that the incident stemmed from a dispute over illegal narcotics. The kidnapping victim told a friend about the incident who in turn reported it to the Sheriff's Office. The search warrant led to two arrests and the discovery of what Mueller describes as user amounts of methamphetamine. A large amount of stolen property was also recovered from the residence and returned to its rightful owner. Arrested at the scene were 46-year old Terry Lee Anderson and 40-year old Debra Sue Myers, who were living in a trailer on the property. Anderson was arrested on an unrelated Parole Violation and his being held with no bail. Myers was charged with first-degree Kidnap, third-degree Assault, Menacing and Coercion with $50,000 bail. Both subjects were lodged in Linn County Jail. Story continues below On December 6th an additional arrest was made in the Albany area. 23-year old Faren Kay Tooze was located in a vehicle by Linn County Sheriff’s Deputies and arrested. Tooze was charged with first-degree Kidnap, second-degree Assault and Possession of Methamphetamine. She was lodged in the Linn County Jail on $106,000 bail. Mueller says additional persons are being sought for questioning in this case. The investigation is continuing. Ease up... The original posting of the story had very little info, it's since been modified. Editor: My apologies to all; I did add the paragraph about the kidnapping after the original story was posted, I contacted the Linn County Sheriff's Office and they sent out the additional information. Sorry for the confusion!
