(KEIZER) - Keizer police arrested a woman yesterday after she allegedly robbed another woman at an outside ATM at the Keizer MAPS Credit Union Tuesday night.

At about 9:00 AM Wednesday, the victim, 18-year-old Whitney Cathey, while driving through Keizer, spotted the suspect at a bus stop and called police.

She reported that suspect was wearing the same distinctive jacket she was wearing last night, the night of the robbery.

Keizer police officers responded and located 29-year-old Jessica Caywood, at the bus stop.

Cathey positively identified Caywood as the suspect and she was taken into custody.

Some of Cathey’s property was found in the custody of Caywood.

Other of Cathey’s property was found nearby, after being discarded to another person who was with Caywood.

That other person, 27-year-old Lanny King, of Lebanon, was arrested for Tampering with Physical Evidence.

After further investigation, Caywood was arrested for Robbery 1, attempted Assault 2, and Menacing.

The latter charge was because she threatened Cathey with an open folding knife.

Happy to report I am doing a lot better. I wish I could whisper into the ear of that girl to sober up, call a friend for a ride home instead of victimizing that poor girl I robbed that night. Because what a lot of people do not realize is, I just wanted her car keys. The guy I was hanging out with was a creep and I only wanted to go home. Lessons learned. I only wish that girl that I robbed knew how much regret I hold in my heart for the damage I did to her.
