(SALEM, Ore.) - The Marion County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in locating 38-year old Shelly A. McGinnis; a suspect in a number of cases under active investigation at the Sheriff's Office. Marion County Undersheriff Jason Myers says McGinnis is wanted on multiple outstanding warrants and is also a person of interest in several recent Burglary and Thefts that have occurred in both Marion and Polk Counties. "Ms. McGinnis has a past history of weapons possession charges and should be considered dangerous," Myers said. "If you have any information on or know the whereabouts of Ms. McGinnis please contact Senior Deputy Dave Wagner, of the Marion County Sheriff's Office, at 503-588-5032 or your local Law Enforcement Agency." Myers says Shelly McGinnis is described as five foot eight inches tall, 170 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.
