FBI Offers Public Reward in Friday Bank Robbery

Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI.

(SALEM, Ore.) - The FBI is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for a robbery at a west Salem bank.

Beth Anne Steele with the FBI in Portland, says the robbery happened at the US Bank located at 1110 Wallace Road NW. The robbery happened at 2:55 PM on Friday, November 28th.

Steele says that according to witnesses, a man walked into the bank, demanded cash and left with an undisclosed amount.

Those witnesses describe the man as a white male, approximately 35 to 45 years old. He stood between five foot ten and five foot eleven inches tall.

The man was reported to have a medium build and a high pitched voice. He has blue eyes.

The suspect was wearing a blue and grey plaid jacket during the robbery, along with a stocking cap and wire rim glasses.

Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI in Salem at (503) 362-6601 during normal business hours or (503) 224-4181 twenty-four hours a day.
