(DALLAS, Ore.) - A pre-dawn drug raid has netted several methamphetamine suspects in Polk County. Sheriff Bob Wolfe says the operation called "End Game," "is an excellent example of several agencies working together toward a common goal of dealing with the methamphetamine trafficking that is taking place in our communities." Three main suspects in the case were indicted in U.S. Federal Court on charges of Conspiracy to Commit Unlawful Delivery of Methamphetamine. Independence Police Chief Vernon Wells, says several other individuals were arrested on various drug charges. "The investigation, named End Game, came to a completion today with the service of numerous search warrants in the Independence/Monmouth area." He says members of the Polk County Interagency Narcotics Team, the Marion County Street Crimes Team and Oregon State Police Methamphetamine Task Force out of the Salem DEA office, have completed an investigation into methamphetamine distribution in the Independence/Monmouth area that began in April of this year. The warrants conclude a five month long investigation headed up by the Polk County Interagency Narcotics Team and co-cased by Detectives from the Oregon State Police Governor's Methamphetamine Task Force who are assigned to the Salem area DEA office. The pre-dawn warrants were served at the above locations by the Oregon State Police SWAT Team, Dallas SRT Team and U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration without incident or injuries to anyone involved. Chief Wells of Independence Police, Monmouth Police Chief Darrell Tallan and Polk County Sheriff Bob Wolfe were in attendance for the early morning briefing and all pleased with the operation. Chief Wells stated this investigation has removed some major drug trafficking from our community and shows the importance of our local drug team which was re-activated late last year. The Marion County Street Crimes Team also assisted by providing an undercover detective to assist with the case. During the investigation POINT received assistance from the Marion County Methamphetamine Strike Force, Salem Police Street Crimes Unit, Keizer Police Department Street Crimes Unit, Oregon Army National Guard-RAID detachment and Yamhill County Air Support Division. All subjects taken into custody were transported and lodge at the Polk County Jail. The three with federal charges were transported by U.S. Marshalls to Portland. The individuals arrested include:
