(PORTLAND, Ore.) - Members of the Oregon Air National Guard returned to Oregon on Friday, August 7, 2009 after a six-month deployment to Iraq. Captain Stephen Bomar, State Public Affairs Officer for the Oregon Guard, says twenty-nine airmen from the 142nd Security Forces Squadron arrived on four separate commercial flights at the Portland International Airport. They returned, "to throngs of well-wishers, family members and friends," according to Bomar. The airmen were tasked with base and checkpoint security, as well as checking credentials for all personnel entering Kirkuk Air Base in Iraq. Bomar says they conducted almost 20,000 miles of mounted patrols in and around the base. Over the course of their deployment, the Guard airmen endured 15 rocket attacks and more than 100 incidents of small-arms fire. And.. yes, I am a learned individual, and realize that a private website, when not posting certain views and opinions, is not censorship. But, in Tim's own words "we welcome different views and opinions"...so, maybe its not censorship, it is lies. Which is worse.
Stop it you guys/gals!! I am not posting x rated material, I am posting my opinions!! You shut down the link I sent without even checking it!! Open your hearts to different opinions and views for gosh sakes. Your own words tim.
Tim King: Well, we've all gone down this road before. I am tired of hearing about your preferred media, posting links to your preferred sites, etc. I don't have to have a comment section but I do and I decide what goes here. Sorry it doesn't fit your expectations better, glad we got this out of the way.

29 come home, and 95 are sent back. Welcome home tho guys/gals. Glad you are home. I wont believe another word from obamas mouth. I trusted him and he screwed me.
Editor: First, please don't try to add links to Statesman Journal stories. I would be happy to share it but their links go dead and people have to pay for the story after just a week if I'm not mistaken. Second, your comment about the President screwing you is pretty hard to follow. In case you didn't notice, he inherited quite a mess, don't you think?
