(ALBANY, Ore. ) - On Tuesday, at 10:35 PM, Albany Police Officers responded to 2910 NW Miller Lane in North Albany on the report of a shooting. Responding officers found an adult male and female at the home, both of whom had been shot in the head. 58-year-old Deborah Davis, a resident of 2910 NW Miller Lane, was transported to Samaritan Albany General Hospital by medics where she was later pronounced dead. 28-year-old Albany resident Joel Jensen was transported to Samaritan Albany General Hospital by medics and was later transferred to Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland for treatment. The call originated when Deborah Davis' husband, 56-year-old Tim Hardin, called police from a neighbor's home. Tim Hardin reported an altercation at his Miller Lane home that involved him, his wife, and Joel Jensen in which several shots were fired. Tim Hardin was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital in Corvallis by medics where he was treated and released for head injuries sustained in the incident. The initial investigation, still in its early stages, revealed that Tim Hardin, Deborah Davis, and Joel Jensen knew one another. The cause of the altercation is currently under investigation. Anyone with any information regarding this investigation is asked to call the Albany Police Department at (541) 917-7680.
