The street value of drugs should not generate shock. It is a matter of supply and demand. The supply is short and the demand is above normal. This is another reason to legalize other drugs so that the street value of this haul becomes $100 dollars. Legalize safe drugs and the value of crap like meth will plunge. Also, who needs law enforcement wasting their time and increasing their numbers over stuff like this when you rarely get your property back after a burglary. This just keeps law enforcement employed doing nonsense. I have been burlarized 3 times in my life. When you go to the precinct they pratically laugh at you and give you the message that they could care less about your property no matter how high the value. Gee, I wonder if they are in on it. If it was their house they would relentlessly work at finding out who did it and would at least get the people involved. Serve and Protect Ourselves is their motto.

Legalize marijuana and most of these problems are solved. I do not want to insult pot because it is relatively harmless compared to meth and liquor. It may be no more harmless than ice cream. The liquor lobby gets nervous even at the thought of a competing product that would be cheaper and very loved.
