(ISLAMABAD) - The court has rejected the baseless and false allegations leveled against me and all those who were behind these implicated allegations become disappointed, said Sajid Ishaq, Central President PTI (Pakistan Tehreek-e- Insaf) Minority Wing. While talking to the Press Conference at the National Press Club in Islamabad on Friday 19th April 2013, PTI leader said, "I felt it was necessary that I should present myself before you to bring the facts of the case in which was falsely and with malicious intent implicated to cause harm to my integrity, my reputation and political career." "I would say that this case registered as FIR NO 24, taken by the learned court of the District and Session Judge, Islamabad, came immediately after I was nominated as a candidate for the seat of the Member National Assembly from the platform of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI)," added the PTI leader. "The objective seemed very clear of lodging this case against me after my nomination papers were accepted by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) as my opponents evidently wanted to damage my reputation and drag me into litigation to prevent me from approaching my people to prepare for the forthcoming general elections."
