Marine Board Meeting to Include Executive Session

(Salem, Oregon) - The Oregon State Marine Board will enter Executive Session prior to the conclusion of the regularly scheduled meeting on Thursday, April 21. The meeting, which includes the agenda items listed below, will be held at the Marine Board office, 435 Commercial Street NE, in Salem.

Board members and staff will participate in a work session on April 20 from 1 pm to 5 pm and the general Board meeting will be held on April 21 from 8:30 am to 1 p.m. The public is invited to attend both sessions.

The Board will be considering the following rules and hearing the following agenda items:

  • City of Rainier’s Maintenance Assistance Program grant audit;
  • Consideration of a one-year OYCC grant;
  • Rulemaking consideration on boat operations on Foster Reservoir in Linn County;
  • Rule consideration on boat operations on the Willamette River/TriMet Bridge Project in Multnomah County;
  • Rulemaking consideration on special local restrictions/applicability in Jackson County;
  • Rulemaking consideration on boat operations on the Willamette River at Foothills Park in Clackamas County;
  • Agency staff reports.

The meeting is accessible for persons with disabilities. Persons needing some form of assistance to participate in this meeting due to a disability should contact June LeTarte at 503-378-2617 by Tuesday, April 19. Persons wishing to address the Board on non-agenda items may do so during the designated period at the start of the 8:30 am general meeting on April 21.
