Gaza Lives!

(GAZA CITY) - We've brought you reports in the past about the artist, Shareef Sarhan in Gaza, whose incredible talents emanate outward from this place, showing that being surrounded by a military threat has no impact on real art.

His travels have led to many relationships all over the world; Shareef is a truly remarkable stand out artist and those in Gaza will have a new chance to see his new exhibit, entitled: 'Gaza lives!'

Born in Gaza in 1976, Sharif Sarhan works as an artist, professional photographer and free-lance designer. He is a founding member of the “Windows from Gaza for Contemporary Art “group and an active member of the Association of Palestinian Artists. Sarhan has a diploma in arts from the University of ICS in the United States.

He had participated in several art training courses and workshops.and he had introduced his works in many individual and group exhibitions in Gaza in the Arts and Crafts village, the Port Gallery, and exhibited some of his works in Ramallah, Bethlehem, Jerusalem, Amman, Britain, the United States, Spain, Sweden, Sharjah and Cairo.

I'M BRAZILIAN AND I'M WATCHING A VIDEO ABOUT GAZA,I'M SO SORRY CAUSE OF THE WAR....IN MY COUNTRY DONT HAVE WAR BUT HAVE VIOLENCE, CORRUPTION AND MANY BAD THINGS TOO...THE PEOPLE IN YOUR COUNTRY ARE VERY STRONG AND THEY TRY TO LIVE AFTER THE WAR, DESPITE ALL THEY HAVE PASSED THEY DIDNT LOOSE THEIR FAITH...THANKS GOD!!
