(WEST SALEM) - Salem police and the Polk County Medical Examiner are investigating the death of a Salem man who was found lying in a wooded area of Wallace Marine Park in West Salem. A fisherman found the body of 51-year-old Roger J Wilson from Salem. Police says no foul play was suspected in the man`s death. Police arrived on the scene shortly after 3:00 and found the body on the ground with a bicycle nearby. Police said the body was identified as that of Roger J. Wilson, who lived on Lexington Circle SE in Salem. The fisherman said he noticed a person lying on the ground from a distance Thursday afternoon. When he returned to the park Friday, he went by the same spot and took a closer look and notified police. _________________________________________
