Joe Pantoliano interviews Dr. Dean Brooks, the former Superintendent of the Oregon State Hospital from 1955 to 1981. Brooks participated in the film "One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest" when the producers cast him as Dr. Spivey and shot the film at the hospital in Salem, Oregon during the mid-1970's.
Brooks talks about how he started in psychiatry, became involved with the film, and what he learned about acting from Jack Nicholson.

According to a 2012 Skagit County Public Works Department, 42 of the county's 108 bridges are 50 years or older. The document says eight of the bridges are more than 70 years old and two are over 80.

An Interstate 5 bridge collapsed into the Skagit River, dumping two vehicles and a trailer in the waters north of Mount Vernon. A law-enforcement source said 150 yards of the interstate dropped into the water.
"It's a hell of a ride," the source said.
