(SALEM, Ore.) - Marion County Dog Services will host an event offering dog licensing amnesty on late fees and license violations, as well as a low cost vaccination clinic from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, April 18th at the Sublimity Fire Station (115 NW Parker).

Low-cost vaccinations for dogs will be provided, and FREE rabies vaccinations will be offered to the first 250 who also purchase a second preventative vaccine.

Sentencing of Drake Carson Related To Pursuit Fatality

(SALEM, Ore.) - Today, Drake Alan Douglas Carson, 17, pled guilty to Manslaughter in the Second Degree, Assault in the Third Degree, and Attempting to Elude a Police Officer.

After accepting the plea, the Honorable Cheryl Pellegrini sentenced Carson to a total of 84 months in the Department of Corrections, followed by 27 months of Post-Prison Supervision.
