Before you begin examining these images, know that they are among the most grotesque and disturbing war injuries we have ever seen,  the photos are heinous but they are real and these poor people who received the brutal hand of force from the Sri Lanka government are here now to remind us that the price of war and ethnic warfare is boundless.

These images are provided by a Tamil contact and from the end of the conflict in 2009:  Again, you have been forewarned, these are not simple images of dead bodies, they are images of the most massive and egregious mutilations that have ever been released.
