===================Original release===============

Washington County Sheriff's deputies are asking for the public's help in locating a missing developmentally disabled woman from the community of Aloha.

26-year old Sparkle Thira Green left her adult foster care home last Tuesday, September 22nd, and went to her mother's house in NE Portland. She has not been seen or heard from since.

Sparkle Green left her adult foster care home earlier this week and has not returned. She was last seen in Portland and may be downtown, according to Sgt. David Thompson with the Washington County Sheriff's Office.

"Ms. Green has left her home several times in the past and has spent up to a week away from home."

He says her caretaker told deputies that Ms. Green likes to go to downtown Portland and visit with the homeless people.

"Ms. Green is not on any crucial medication, but she functions at a low level and could be taken advantage of," Thompson said.

She is described as a heavyset black woman, 5'8" tall, and 350 pounds.
