(LAFAYETTE, OR. ) - A two-vehicle accident at Hwy 99W and Bridge Street in Lafayette was reported at 5:35 PM Sunday. At 5:35 PM Sunday, officials received the call. Initial information from officials confirms one fatality, one person was taken by LifeFlight to an unknown hospital, and others involved had non-life threatening injuries. No names of the victims have been released. Police say that Highway 99W may be closed at that location, and travelers are recommended to use alternative routes.
