(GERVAIS, Ore.) - A fiery car crash broke out early Sunday morning in Gervais, Oregon, requiring response from police and several fire units. Our camera was on the scene to bring you the images below.

The Marion County Sheriff's Office and Fire District were called out to the scene around 1:00 a.m.

They arrived at the scene of the car fire, 11315 Wheatland Rd NE Gervis, finding the vehicle crashed in the ditch, and on fire.

There were unconfirmed reports that the driver, a female, exited the vehicle just after the crash, but that a male passenger had not gotten out.

However a deputy on the scene told Salem-News.com that as far as they knew, everyone had exited the vehicle.

The Wheatland Ferry was closed Sunday afternoon and later reopened due to a power outage in the area. It was not clear if there was any relationship between the events.
